Books and the worlds inhabiting them, have an enormous power to change young lives.
Gifting beautifully illustrated storybooks to children who are marginalised, sometimes traumatised or living in hardship, is a way of flicking a switch which could help them make sense of their world, perhaps encouraging them to seek ways in which to improve their situation, as they grow into young adults.
